Mr. Ching, do you have any knowledge of this person? Just curious because he names some relatively well-known monks who have gone on to do very similar things.

And I agree with Jhapa, they do need to spread further than NYC. We're doing quite well, I think, when it comes to having more than enough KF here.

All the so called "Shaolin" schools have to do is start selling coffee and brownies and they'll give Starbucks a run for their money.....

Wow, let's party, ANOTHER Shaolin school.....

    Shi Yanchang

Yanchang was actually the first Shaolin monk to immigrate to the USA, preceding the defection of Shi Guolin and Shi Yanming in '92. He has been fairly low key - I can only remember one magazine article that featured him and it was only a peripheral reference. I've never met him. I corresponded with a few of his students, but that's about it. I think he has done some cooperative work with Shi Guolin lately.

    you got to have

    1. A chinatown that's more than 1 block long

    2. other bald people so they can fit in (like in the titty bars

    3. also they have to be able to hide well so that imigration or the IRS doesn't find them
