Anyone know of anywhere I can get a free logo done for a website? (I'm not very good with Microsoft Paint)
I'm thinking maybe if I find some art websites, someone might have a go at doing a logo for me. Does anyone know of any student art/design websites with forums?

There's plenty of free banner design sites on the net. Basically, you do things like choose a background, choose a font, etc. and the site spits out a basic, ugly sort of thing.
Getting free quality graphics is likely impossible, though.
The first is fine if all you're doing is a personal site or something like that. If you want to roll your own logo, try looking up logo tutorials on google and see if you get any ideas. Be sure to exclude the programming language "logo" from consideration.

if you have a sketch or an idea in mind you could scan and attach it to a post, I'd be willing to give a shot at it when i have some free time. I enjoy that kind of stuff.

yeah ewallace that'd be brilliant! I used to be able to draw pretty well but never got into graphic design on the computer. I'll have a go to see what I can come up with and post it on here....
