The New England Intl Chinese MA Championships

Anyone going to this on NOV 1 ?

The 2nd New England International Chinese Martial Arts Championships
Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic, CT

Went for the first one and checked out the finals. It was pretty cool. Saw an amazing wushu staff by Diane Noughton, student of Master Pan.

Did anyone seen the whole thing? Was there sparring ?

    I'll be there

And I always look forward to meeting forum members. You all know what I look like - I'm the skinny Chinese guy with the pony tail lurking by the stage with the digital camera. HOpe some of you have the courage to say hello.

I'll be there - putting my @ss on the line in sparring as a Mantis Boxer.

I'll be happy to meet you in person Gene , perhaps we can cross swords literally one day (you said you were a Fencer, right?).

Anyway, I will be happy to meet any other guys from these forums also.

Cool Dre! You'll have to tell me when you fight. It I can get a good shot of a forum member knocking the spit out of someone else in the ring, that's worthy of publication.

I flying in Friday night, then leaving early Sunday, so the best time to catch me will be Saturday. Let's hook up - I'm pretty easy to spot - if it's cold I usually wear this : http://store.yahoo.com/martialartsmart/99xmals15.html (sans Margie on my knee of course ) If it's warmer, I'll probably be wearing this: http://store.yahoo.com/martialartsmart/kf10kt01.html (that's not me, obviously). Both are only available for 2002 so I'm milking them wherever I go. I'm a skinny Californian, so it will probably be cold for me. And my hair is really long now - it's my winter coat.

Hope to see you and more forum members this weekend. KFM forum members unite!

    The shirt

Look at the shirt. That's what you're supposed to look at.

Hope to see you at Malee's tournament, no matter what you're wearing.

Gene, you look like a woman. I liked the false breasts, but....where did you hide the willie?

As an internet transvestite, I know another one and I know when I have been bested.

    snow?!

I hate snow. Looks like I'll freeze my skinny CA butt. brrrr.

Skip the PM Dre, I'm leaving tomorrow and wont' get it. Just be on the look out. I'm pretty easy to spot.

Stacey, don't look for the willie, look for the adam's apple. Years of living in SF taught me that basic skill and you'd be amazed how many people make that mistake.
