    stance transitioning

    lots of throwing and application of stances in regard to throws. specifically, we worked (bear in mind that I relate all throws to judo) tai otoshi, o goshi, o soto gari, ko uchi gari and ippon seionage.

    longfist. also western boxing. my work schedule right now more suits the longfist class. I'd rather be doing judo and muay thai, but such is life... I'm not really a complainer when it comes to MA. if I am learning something useful and progressing in skill, I am happy.

    my ss form is attrocious, so I kept it light to work on it. I think it is an upper body flexibility issue, because I am just as atrocious with overhead squats.

    how flexible is your lower back, and how deep do you go in your normal squats? (on the squat snatch i see people lose it when they dont have the ankle and hip flexability to keep upright)

    ever thought of trying split snatches instead? just as much explosion and athletism, but easier to catch and stick than the squat snatch and probably more applicable for MMA
