Why can't you just do the splits?

They are free, and you can store them in your head taking up NO closet space!!

Plus, you get the same bennifits, or more when you consder Spilts are totally adjustable, and not limited to just a few ranges like a machine is.
Those that are the most sucessful are also the biggest failures. The difference between them and the rest of the failures is they keep getting up over and over again, until they finally succeed.

Do Russian gymnasts and ballerinas use them? NO. Do lazy tkd americans use them? YES. Hmmm makes you wonder.

RD, "Why can't you just do the splits?"

I can, this is just a variation. Plus it allows me to multi-task somewhat that I can't do while doing traditional splits. It's a supplement to stretching, not the only stretch that I do.

Russian gymnasts and ballerinas: They start splits from an early age. This old man needs a little help. It's not different that stretching with two people and have one person push your legs further apart with their feet.

If it can improve my range of motion and my flexibility, then I'll be happy. If it encourages me to use it because it takes up space then great.
