well since Chuck is THE man, it does make sence others would want him and his manly beard... about chuck never triming his beard.. perhaps McGyver secretly cut the manly beard with his swiss army knife, while Chuck was squishing cows! :P

I heard chuck norris had sex with himself because he was so good looking and he then separated in to two parts, chuck norris and chuck lidell, one was the celebrity we all know who is on tv and the other part was fighting counterpart he separated himself into .

What is it with this Chuck Norris thing?

He's being revered as a camp classic, which he is, but it's getting a lot of attention somewhat recently.

    Here's some more:

Conan O'Brien has a Walker Texas Ranger lever on his show (one pull and out comes a clip of Chuck Norris kicking arse).

I DON'T GET IT. But I like it.

I remember back in the 80's he said he wanted to appeal to a wider audience, so he took the hand gun approach. And then, in 1986 when he came out with Firewalker with Lou Gossett Jr., he said he wanted to get back to his roots and feature more martial arts.

Chuck Norris is not so much a thing as an Act of God. That Act, of course, being the Bringing of Pain.

I just caught some weird Chuck Norris thing on SNL

I was falling asleep and I had the volumne down real low, but it was some kind of music video sort of thing - 'young chuck norris' - its' was mildly amusing.

Check out what the Washington Post has to say...

Interesting article, Gene. Now the "real" question: I wonder if Chuck-mania is going to do anything for the martial arts industry? You know, every time there's an iconic MA celeb, it does help the MA industry. My guess is that it will not, and be "Chucked" up there with the same effect that realultimatepower.net had on the MA industry - practically nothing, except for one more thing to mock it for. (don't get me wrong, I love it, and think it rules! but it doesn't exactly inspire me to practice, only flipping out)

    The whole Chuck retro thing...

...is begining to remind me a lot of Napoleon Dynamite. Was that good for martial arts? At first I thought it was, but now I have my doubts...
