    What's your favourite practice?

When you are engaged in practicing your kungfu, what part about that do you enjoy the most?

forms? weapons practice? sparring? meditation? other?

    which aspect and why.
Kung Fu is good for you.

    I like MK's answer.

Otherwise I like watching beautiful women go by, and hitting my friends when they turn round to look.

Before practice and training it is important to elevate heart beat, breathing, bloodflow and to stretch out a little to ensure that you don't become injured.

so do your cal before practice in class and to build strength at home. You still need to do it.

It's gonna be a few years before you can do most stuff cold and even then you risk a little injury.

there is not a single pro fighter who doesn't get a bit of a sweat going before any fight. It's the oil on the cogs that keeps them functioning optimaly.

I like to take things/moves apart and practice them over and over.

For example white crane spreading wing in Tai Chi.

I break them up into 4.

    1. Kou step downward Lu.

    2. Bai step right Lu.

    3. ding step He Bei.

    4. xu Bu Kai Bei.

I pay attention to arm movements, waist, steps, and weight shifting etc.

weapon practices are extensions of your open hand methods.

I really enjoy working on my forms but even more than that I enjoy sparring. Trying to apply techniques right out of the forms.

Most of all I really like working on my staff form.

I like to move up and down the floor, front snap round house thrust
over and over and over and over, I also love to spin my rope dart
around the house, outside, at work, I tried in the car but there is not much room.

"quick side question: does anyone else in here practice blocks while
    steering a car."

I like going against a live resisting opponent. Sparring, grappling, whatever, as long as they are not leaving their arm out there or going limp so you can throw them.
    Bless you
