    Lump in my arm

I have this lump in my right upper arm, on the outside, between my triceps and biceps. Normally (like right now) it's small and I can barely feel it, but when I'm working out, especially on arms day, it gets bigger and I can see it when I look in the mirror. After my pump goes away it goes back to it's normal small size. It doesn't hurt at all unless I squeeze it. There must be a good blood supply to it seeing as how it gets bigger when the area fills with blood (like when I work out). I think it may be a lipoma. Anyone have any ideas? I suppose I should go to my doctor, huh? It's been there as long as I can remember, but recently I've kinda been freaking out cuz it looks kinda big when I have a pump (I wish my arm muscles would get bigger, instead).

Yeah it's sounds like a fatty tumor to me. Is there any kind of mole/dark spot over that area though? It's most likely not harmful but next time you go in for a checkup, just in case ask about it.

    Nope, it's skin-colored.

Well then at least you don't have to worry about melanoma (sp?).

Sounds like this except not in the breast. Search that website maybe for something, but I'm almost sure what you have is just an ordinary fatty tumor.

    Faze,

if it's been there as long as you can remember, hasn't changed (other than to become more visible as you get leaner and your arms get some more mass), and has nice smooth margins, it's a good bet it's a lipoma, and is almost undoubtedly benign. If it's a lipoma it can be removed with a minor surgery. Go, get it looked at by an MD so you settle the question, then don't worry about it.
