Would you guys know if pong lai seven hands is the same as the 8 step? I got the 8 step one but was wondering if yours was different?

Yu Shan or 18Elders will probbaly give you the official answer but it's my understanding that it's the same with the exception of an added move in the begginning.

I'm sure they will correct me if I'm wrong.

Qi Shou is from Babu Tanglang. Master Shr teaches this form. He has put a marker in the beginning of the form. I showed this form to well known Shifu Puyot an 8-Step teacher. He had praise for our form especially the two person form. What else would you like to know? And who taught you the form?

    Yushan, what kind of marker?

I learned the set from Arthur D'Agostino. That one starts off with the arm break. I don't know where he got it from but it is a sweet little set. Lots of apps. By the way, are you going up this month to Tampa for Chinese New Year? God willing, I will be up there that weekend.
