Increase in waste size from muscle?

Is it possible? I was a 29, now they're really tight. I know there are muscles there, but do they get big enough to bump up a waste size?

It absolutely can. I lift very heavy with my core to increase delivery power so my waist is much larger. However some is due to age and food as well

On reading the title of this thread, I was about to be prepared to be grossed out.

The area where you put your belt is your WAIST...

The items you leave in the toilet are your WASTE....

So I was prepared for the wurst....

Although your waist size can increase due to more obliques/abs, I have had to move up pants size due to my glutes and thighs growing.

Well, I didnt think it could happen to me, but for a while there I was lifting real heavy, WITH MY LOVEHANDLES, and it actually bulked them up, I went from a 30 (never was a 29 ) to well im not exactly sure, but its a tight squeeze into a pair of 30's. Im probably a 32 now.

Woah, thanks for pointing that out! What a ridiculous (but common) error!

Actually, you were prepared for the wurst? Did you have your bun and mustard ready?
