Someone get the girlfriend on America Idol! LOL
I was on the metro earlier, deep in meditation, when a ruffian came over and started causing trouble. He started pushing me with his bag, steadily increasing the force until it became very annoying. When I turned to him, before I could ask him to stop, he immediately started hurling abuse like a scoundrel. I performed a basic chin na - carotid artery strike combination and sent him to sleep. The rest of my journey was very peaceful, and passersby hailed me as a hero - Warrior Man
Iron Bridge, Iron Horse, 1000 lbs sitting, Fist like Hammer, Finger like Sword, Palm like knife, Claw like Hook, Eyes like Lightning, Fist like shooting Star, Body as supple as a Snake, Body alligned behind punch, Horse Stance 1000 lbs., Strong, but NOT stiff... Fast, but NOT weak!!!
wil-hung, yes thats the very beginning of our gung ji...I practise the lau family hung gar..i will soon upload the whole form...
hey. why would i get snippy? lol
yep i got clips. check my site, they're in the online vids section.
style i do is a mix of stuff.
a lot of drills, bag work, mitt work etc etc. practical stuff and then forms.
the forms i practice are drawn from a a few sources.
black tigers sets i learned from sifu wes cameron in winnipeg
black tigers sets i learned from my training partner who is with Wong Cheung's Sil Lum Black Tiger Organization from Hong Kong.
Wing Chun sets I learned from the same guy.
Yang Taichi from sifu Chris Au and from my training partner after a long hiatus from this practice.
North shaolin sets learned from winnipeg sifu as above and two that I learned from video. (yes, i learned a couple of sets off video! after a long ime of not being able to figure out how to do so i just picked the ones from a style i had already been taught the fundamentals of and it came easier)
boxing, wrestling both come from high school and later years
have a couple of kicks i still use that come from tkd
did kickboxing for a few years at another club in winnipeg
and with as much frequency as possible exchange training material with other practitioners from all over the place style wise, MT, JJ, MMA and so on. Doesn't matter to me, if it is good it is good, if not, then it gets dropped quickly.
Kung Fu is good for you.
