    Baji and piqua

Are these internal arts? It seems they are discussed frequently on this board.

What do you mean by "internal"? I am not being rhetorical. This type of question usually sets off a load of responses with everyone having their own ideas about what is internal.

Read the chapters in Adam Hsu's The Sword Polisher and you can decide. In our article in the Journal of Asian Martial Arts we indicate the Wu xing or five elements of baji. We practice neigong training in baji and piqua. You find all the major jings of Chen's taiji in the baji system.

What constitutes the standard measure of internal? Its important to establish this benchmark so other systems can be compared to it. To my knowledge, no one has yet to agree upon such a standard measure.

There is a big shadow concerning the classification of Wudang martial arts and shaolin. See Adam Hsu's book regarding this "mistranslation".
