here's an old picture with many old great masters in it shot in San Francisco.

even Shek Kin is there.

This was one of Sifu's early trips to the US. He came with Shek Kin, Mok Pui On (wing chun) and his student, Sifu Mak Hin Fai. Also in the picture I see Chan Pui, Mark Bo Sim, Y.C. Wong and your sifu Dino.

Any idea where in S.F. and in what year it was taken?? Shek Kin looks pretty young ...maybe pre Enter the Dragon ie 1973??

I believe its late 70s or early 80s as this was the time sifu came over with the HK group. My guess would be 1976.

the woman in the nice outfit on shek kin's right is Chan Kin Man's daughter ( chan yuk jan) and on the far right is Lau Bun's student and master of performing sets on top of clay tea pots ---Master Sam Louie.

david jamieson, isn't your sifu in that photo? oh, no i guess he wasn't. sorry.

1975. This pic was in the boston wah lum 35th anniversary book I have.

i didn't know until today that bo sim mark is donnie yen's mother.

and i made a mistake, my sifu says chan yuk jan (jenny chan) is Chan Kin Man's sister.

anyways, that photo was taken at san francisco's salvation army.

Maybe I am wrong, but I am pretty sure that it´s Master Chan Wan Ching (GM Chan Pui´s older kung fu brother) from Wah Lum Pai standing beside master Shek Kin. He is the one with glasses, wearing black.

Man, what a group!! Several top masters together... WOW!

I have a tape of one of sifu's trips from the around 1976. Not sure where it was maybe Seatle or NY.

Sifu came Shek Kin, Mok Pui On and his student, Wong Tat Mau. I remember seeing performances of Eagle Claw and a lot of Hung Gar. I think Shum Leung was there and I remember Tak Wah Eng doing a staff form.
