Does 7 Star Mantis have a Kwan Dao Form?

Hell all, just a simple curious question. I start training soon with a near by Sifu and I still have my Kwan Dao from my Hung Gar days. I never got to play around really with the massive beast of a weapon, so I had hopes that the 7 star system has it in their weapon's base?

It has.
But normally it will take you years and years of training a lot of other stuff before learning the Gwan Dou. Most students never learn this weapon.

Yea if you are working your way through the syllabus then its going to take a while

but then there is always the off chance that a seminar will happen and you'll learn it quicker.

Thanks kindly, I was hoping to get some info on that. I was told it was a long weapon form that requires some strength. I'm fairly excited abou it.

The most common set is the Spring Autumn Gwan Dao. There is also a Jahm Ma Dao (Horse Chopper), that is a similar weapon but shorter and uses different techniques.
