Thread: cool vid 5 animal boxing

  1. #16
christmas day here and one of my presents from Hong Kong is a dvd of
"Shaolin 5 Shape 16 Technique" Set.

Most of the animals are not the standard ones seen
    Peck of the Rooster
    Kick of the Horse,
    Crouch of the Tiger
    Jump of the Rabit
    Twist of the Dragon

A pretty lame/standard set though and of course not a trace of the form's history or applications.

Can't complain, it is a gift ( I think my nephew would like it for his birthday )

SevenStar: It's hilarious seeing people's reactions when they see a big, black dude with a sword walking toward them.

Masterkiller: Especially when they're at the ATM.

WTF? How did we go from the White Haired Devil strangling and beating guys to death in a teahouse, to Mr Miyagi and Jhoon Rhee?

which is worse...the over the top hard core techno..... or the infant lullabye stuff ...I don't know..

However.. the form and display of power was "IMO" first rate.

Did anyone notice those nasty low kicks that he stepped through...?

That's how a guy who's been studying animals long enough should start to look. Aerial to ground, fast to slow, internal to external, etc. It's a real pain in the ass to try and fit the idea into your head at the beginning, which is why you've got the single animal forms in addition to the mixed.
    Many roads. One path.

    Many styles. One art.

    Many lineages. One practioner.
