    Question Guangdong province question

    Hi,
Was the Guangdong (Canton) province known for any particular style? The reason why I ask is because a relative of mine was a sifu back in the mid-1800 then he came to the US for the gold rush. I have an awesome antique photo of him. All my family remembers was that he had a kung fu school in Guangdong. Any ideas?
    Thanks.

Hung-Ga is one system that came out of Guangdong. Basically, if you look up the Guangdong Sup Fu-Ten Tigers of Guangdong, you will see other systems that were probably taught there as well.
Pretty much the major southern systems were all taught there,CLF,WC, etc
