    Exactly what I meant.

Just making sure you knew that Tug. I don't know what technique Craig was using but I would call it affective.
"For someone who's a Shaolin monk, your kung fu's really lousy!"
"What, you're dead? You die easy!"
"Hold on now. I said I would forget your doings, but I didn't promise to spare your life. Take his head."
“I don’t usually smoke this brand, but I’ll do it for you.”
"When all this is over, Tan Hai Chi, I will kick your head off and put it on my brother's grave!
"I regard hardships as part of my training. I don't need to relax."

Casino Royale was the first book in the series

Of course, the book series has little to do with the film franchise anymore. However Craig's portrayal of Bond as being a little messed up in the head was more true to Fleming's vision, IMO. If you've read the books, you know Bond gets really messed up by the end of the series. *SPOILER ALERT* In the books, after Live and Let Die, Bond is reprogrammed to assassinate M. *END SPOILER* The ultra suave Bond character was a result of Roger Moore's impact on the role. In the original book, Casino Royale, Bond's first mission was a failure.

That being said, I enjoyed the new flick immensely. I really enjoyed the opening chase showcasing Sebastien Foucan, one of the founders of Parkour. That should make for a fine 'making of' DVD extra. For more on District B-13, see our e-zine coverage of it. I like Craig and heartily support qiphlow's recommendation of Layer Cake, which is where I first noticed him.

The book ends with Bond saying the same thing: "The b!tch is dead now."
