CLF vid clip - Do you recognize the form?

According to the video there are secret moves in the sets that the person had to take out, but you should get the idea.

The arms swings kind of reminds me of Frank McCarthy's CLF....what you say?

It's virtually impossible to say as all you really see linked together is the bow sequence. I have no idea why they do their Poon Kius 3 times. Anyone?

We do that sometimes. Mostly in our siu moi fah. It's for training the shoulders.

That was the only explanation I could come up with. Why not just do the form more often though?

I believe that CLF comes through Chan Kwok Wai from Brazil who is a well-known bak sil lum sifu. If I remember correctly he learned his CLF from Yun Yim Chau (not sure of the spelling) but would also have had some CLF influence through the Ku Yu Chueng/Tam Sam relationship. I have seen the multiple poon kiu's before with buk sing CLF.

At first view I would say the form has characteristics of a Sup Ji, but on further examination I believe it maybe Ping Kuen there’s definitely a similarity in the sequence & pattern to the Ping kuen form done in the version my sifu does on the clip I loaded on Youtube.

Hi Guys. CLF Nole is right. This is Chan Kowk Waiīs Choy Lee Fut.
The form is Sup Ji Kiun.
Actually the guy is doing a sloppy performance and this is about 1/4 of the form actually.
The poon kius (i didnīt know this was itīs name in chinese) are done always 3 or 4 times to train shoulders and waists...
This guys are from my school, Kai Men.
When he says itīs a secret, itīs not saying thatīs a secret form, but that in our school we donīt post COMPLETE sets usually. Just that.
Iīll be posting my version of Sup Ji for Xmas so you can se the whole form.

Chan Kowk Waiīs CLF is not too popular and i think it is a nice branch of Hung Sing CLF; so i think iīll start posting some clips so we can share kowledge.

    Kindest Regards

    Pablo
