    Chinese Translation

    Hi-what are the Tai Chi terms for these?

    kusushi - off-balancing the opponent
    tsukuri - setting up an opening
    kake - executing the throw
    gatame - arm bar
    garame - arm entanglement
    uke-
    tori-
    tai sabaki -

    Hi-don't have um-a freind sent me the list asking for the equivalents-

    I haven't come across a specialized vocabulary for tori and uki. I heard them described as you and your enemy (ni/ni de diren).

    Tai Sabaki seems to be the equivelant of bufa or stance work. bufa can describe standard stance training (horse, bow, etc) or stepping methods.

    Thats all i know.
