    Grappling practice at Pitt

    Jimmy was late, so got some rolling in before the official practice began.

    Rolled with wrestler guy: (?), he took me down, got me with an armbar.

    Judo randori with judo guy: (?), got him twice with kouchi gari, once with ouchi gari, he got me once with tomoe nage

    Rolled with Jesse (finally remember someone's name!): We ended up in a weird position, he had me in half guard, kind of, my other leg was around his head, I grabbed my ankle behind my back and tried to choke him, didn't work, eventually I was about in a split and he got me with a toe lock.

    Practice was relaxed, some sweeps and some takedowns.

    Different wrestling guy (?) Traded positions, he eventually got me in an armbar.

    Some conditioning: Note, ate nachos and cheese pre-workout, too salty, not a good idea. Felt all bloated. Gene may get superpowers from nachos, but I sure don't!

    Ran into Brian from the Pitt grappling club. We rolled. I got him once with an omoplata when I couldn't get an armbar. It was nice getting to grapple w/ someone during the week.

    Messed around doing a kettlebell swing type motion with a 45lb plate. The plates at the gym have a hole for gripping. It was the first time I did these, they felt alright.
