I haven't heard about the seminars hosted by Kung Fu Dragon next Monday yet. Shifu Yu Zhenlong was actually by our office yesterday but I was busy with other guests and didn't have a chance to talk with him about it. There's nothing on their website as of yet.

On Oct. 25, Mark Warner’s Professional Martial Arts was visited by the venerable Shaolin monk Shi DeCheng.

Shifu, meaning “master teacher,” traveled from Defeng, China, the home of Shaolin Kung Fu, to share his teachings with the students at Mark Warner’s.

“Much knowledge was passed down to the next generation of Martial artists, and nothing but smiling faces were seen from both student, and teacher,” Warner said.

Ipswich, MA - this must have been part of my disciple brother Shifu Jeffrey's hosting last week. Decheng is flying to the San Jose right now. I wonder if people think he's in Halloween costume? Decheng is wearing grey robes like usual but Shaolin Robes are often a nice Halloween orange.

I hope to see some of you locals at Shaolin Kungfu Zen this weekend. And if not this weekend, maybe next Friday.

That ol' Shaolin soreness. Feels good in that masochistic Kung Fu sort of way. I'm grateful for the time change this year giving me that extra hour of rest, and no way am I climbing up on a desk here to change the office clock. I'll wait for our graphic crew to get in and do it.

Looks like Decheng transmitted Xiao Luohan. I was way too sore from the weekend to attend. I was limping around all day yesterday. Da Luohan was brutal on my right thigh.

Unfortunately I cannot make the qixing one at Shaolin Kungfu Intl tomorrow because I've got a previous engagement. If you go, drop my name (not sure if that'll actually get you anything, but it's worth a try, right?)

Decheng heads back to China after the weekend.
