    Metabolic Rates

    My metabolism is and always has been on the rampage. in 1 year of absolutely NO training, and eating like a sloppy fat sack of sh!t, Ive only managed to gain a small belly. (Which I am quite proud of)
    Trying to gain weight...
    I know I can push back from 165 to about 190 in the next 2 months with lean protein and a quite potent creatine blend...
    But what about breaking that plateu?
    Any good dieting ideas from anyone?
    I get a chance to eat a good breakfast, but work about 10 hours a day with only a 30 minute lunch break...
    Right now its looking like oatmeal, a banana, and a protein shake for breakfast,
    Lunch will be tuna salad (with hardboiled eggs in it), and some ramen noodles,
    Dinner will always be heavy with pasta and meats, or tortillas and meats. Or burgers... Either way, meats. And protein shake for desert.

    Main thing is lunch...

    Is it coincidence that the health forum doesnt have people posting in it often?
    Maybe some correlation here that the rest of the forum may need to think about eh?

    If you eat a large portion of animal protien for breakfast,like dinner sized, you will feel a significant difference and it will help you make gains and recover much better.
    I made the mistake for years of drinking a protien shake in the morning,starving by 11:00AM and stuffing myself at night.
    Trust me when I tell you there is no substitute for eating meat with breakfast.

    Don't just eat pies - make sure you pump iron too, and be effective in what you choose to do.

    I think perhaps it's because nobody takes this that seriously. So you have a fast metabolism, yet you are going to gain 25 lbs in 2 months while exercising despite not gaining much weight at all when eating like crap and not exercising... On top of this, you break down basically no real specific diet plan and no training program at all, and you are looking for input to break through plateaus and different dieting advice? We kind of have to know what you're doing first...

    More specific break down

    3 Protein shakes a day
    Large breakfast with eggs, oatmeal, OJ, and a shake
    Mid day shake
    Lunch is large tuna salad and noodles
    late day shake
    Dinner is always some large meat dish. Changes daily... Chicken beef or fish...
    After dinner I snack on fruits, sometimes crap food...

    Working out monday wednesday and friday.
    Monday is biceps, back, and quads. 3 sets of 8 curls, 3 sets of 8 inclined curls, 3 sets of 8 curls standing up with that ****ed machine... I forget what its called. Has weights on either side of you, pulleys with multiple handles... Good for chest, biceps, or hindu situps. After biceps, I do 3 sets of upright rows, 3 sets of overhead pull downs, 3 sets of ... I need to learn the names of these things again...
    Legs I do 3 sets of 8 also of leg lifts, then work the bag until I cant walk.


    Ill post wednesday tomorrow, which is chest, triceps, and legs in general....

    More or less looking for some people who have been in a similar situation and achieved success...
    Also, I have been skinny all of my life but I am 23 now and can apparently gain weight much easier than I used to. Ive put on 6 pounds in the last week and have bulked up significantly... (I weigh myself 1st thing in the morning)
    I just dont have the time to really sit and outline my entire plan and everything I do. I work **** near 60 hours a week, Im producing for a gospel band, and engineering and executive producing a local hip hop group, and mixing and mastering 4 tracks for a skate video being put out by a local skate shop. The time I spend working out pretty much takes the time I had to chat on this forum. Today I just have time because Im WAY to sore to work out and its my day off, and I just so happened to be downloading updates for processing plug ins.
    Anyhow...
    Any input is still appreciated, as I do usually have time to stop and read.
