Please Make An 'off Topic' Area!

Cool now that there is a MMA section

CAN WE PLEASE HAVE AN "OFF TOPIC - Whatever goes" section too!!!!!!!?????

    PLEASE.

This sections, esp this one, is getting really clogged up with the political and so on threads.

Every other discussion group site has an area that all the off topics stuff goes too, can we please have it too?

Most people only have a few minutes a day to enjoy this site and all the off topic threads really should be held in their own area.

    Thanks!

Just post in the ORA, I doubt any mods would think anything except "great".
and on that note they need to start a Miss ORA 2007 thread.

If there was an Off Topic area, RD would have to have another log in.

i think we need another topic about how off topic this topic is, then we need to move it to the un official off topic area, once the topic about this topic decides where the off topic topic's should go....

    Seconding the off topic

Ok, so it's a "double post,"

but a forum is more than just its formal subject. It's a community of sorts, and that community is going to cover a wide array of things.

If we're going to start locking up threads on this part of the forum dealing with politics and what not, then I concur that an off-topic forum is highly desirable.

    Thanks.

double posts are the easiest to rectify

Make an adjustment to one forum and everybody wants more.

I think as long as its labeled OT its fine. If people weren't interested in those threads they wouldn't keep getting bounced to the top and "clutter" up this forum. We could keep splintering the main forum into so many little forums that its not interesting to visit here anymore. While I applaud the MMA forum I think more forums than we have would stifle dialogue.

Where are these types of posts acceptable? That's really all I'm asking. Where do you want us to put them?
