    Eight Way Stepping

In this month's IKF there's an article on "eight way stepping". It's a drill with 27 motions that are to be done within seven seconds. I'm quite interested ('cos my footwork's nothing to brag about):- Can someone tell me where I can get the full info on this set? Much appreciated.

    IKF

This forum is run by Kungfu Qigong magazine. IKF is our competition. Never ask us to account for what they publish. Man, I had people ask me about when they ran that story on Bruce Lee's barber....

    My apologies...

Sorry about that! Rest assured I read your mag, it's where I got your e-zine address from. But business aside, can anyone enlighten me on the footwork thing? Does anybody else know anything about it? I'm sure a vastly superior magazine like yours (suck suck grovel) could certainly enlighten me on such a trivial matter...
    Thanks.
Kung Fu is excellent no matter what.

ok, ok, who's on the cover of that issue?

Did they give a Chinese name for Eight way stepping?

The mighty Dan Inosanto is on the cover, but he's not the one doing the article I'm curious about. The guy's name is Douglas A Moffett, and they don't give a chinese name for the form. Nor do they tell you what style he trains. Actually it's a pretty crappy article for practical information. Lots of rhetoric but precious little actual useful information.
Thanks again for looking into this,

    Eight Methods

Eight Methods usually means ba fa (literally eight methods) We have a video on liu he ba fa (six harmonies, eight methods)

Not sure if that's the one in the article though. I have seen that issue, but I didn't notice that particular article, and I don't have a copy here.
