Greatest movie ever. If you like Chinese comedy... I guess it's not for everyone, but I really liked it.

Stephen Chiao would destroy a western traditionalist like David Spade! And he can make a movie that doesn't inspire vomiting, too.

I love Shaolin Soccer, especially the taichi baker/goalie.

    Well...

Shaolin Soccer would be an awsome movie
if only Zhao Wei's stance didn't look so
ridiculous when she did that Chen style
    single whip.

As it stands (pun, hehe), it's a great movie.
But you really need to watch the Chinese
version to appreciate Zhou Qing Chi's faked
seriousness and accent in his lines. (At least
    I hope it's faked...)

    Kungfu Soccer?

Did the preview have a release date? Originally Miramax was going to re-title it Kungfu Soccer. I'll be real interested to see how it plays in the states. A great HK flick, but there might be a lot of culture shock. The team of flying chicks with moustaches was particularly confusing. Still, with so many CGI effects, it'll probably be as interesting as any other Hollywood release. Did the trailer have subittles or dubbing?

I don't remember Gene, may have been voice over. I just sat and stared wondering if someone had laced my popcorn with something. Then they showed someone chi blasting the car and I just busted out laughing.

The Tuxedo looked like fun too.

Dam nit... it made sense when it was running through my head.
