    Hey,

Does anyone know of any Wing chun schools where you can train full time?

    Try WWW.Wingtsun.dk (in Danish though)

But you pay roughly 400dkk per month as regular student.
That gives you acces to a studio which is open from 0700 to 2130 each weekday and 1000 to 1700 on weekends.
WT training is from about 1000 to 2100 each weekday and 1100 to 1430 on weekends.

Apart from WT you can train bjj, historical weapons combat, Escrima, tao Qi gong (chinese stretching etc for better health).
And ofcourse you have weight training, spinning and aerobic also.

You can also take an instructors class which last for 40 weeks and brings you from beginners to 1st technician, which cost 32000dkk.
training is 5 days a week from 1000 to 1430, and there will max be 3 studens per instructor
Training includes WT (duh ) theoretics, practical and background.
    First aid
    dieting
    correct training methology (spelling)
    legal questions
    chinese medicine
guest visits from teachers outside WT, law enforcements personal etc

    think thats about it really

But try and find a WT club in UK which is member of the alliance and try that out first. then if you like it ask them about the danish HQ im sure they know about it

Thanks for the info, that seems reasonable.

    I'll look further into it.

    Almost forgot

Each year - in august I think - there is a summercamp where you can go for 1 week to train full time, Havent attented one for many years but it used to have people coming from all over europe.

Try asking about that on the forum at the homepage above. Go to the scandinavian section and dont be put off by most talking danish. Just ask in english and someone will come along

Gary lams in LA does full time IIRC

In HK you could go to the VTAA and train all day with different teachers I think too

    Hi kup choi,

Like Nick said, Sifu Lam does have full time training at his facility (his house and backyard). You live on the grounds and get 3 or so hours in the morning and another 3 or more hours in the evening, plus whatever else you do with the people that are there as well. The living arrangements are very reasonable (like $20us a day), and comfortable. There are a ton of resturants around (that don't cost much), laundry facilities, plus a theatre not too far.

For more info visit Sifu Lam's site, www.garylamwingchun.com , and call him at the # there for precise details, he is very easy to talk to and your money will be well spent.

Hi mate, you might want to check out nino bernardo, he is based in ibiza,
here is the info from his site:
Ibiza Kwoon - Nino Bernardo's unique training facility on the beautiful island of Ibiza was established to facilitate the training of private students and small groups, in a traditional and idyllic setting.

With inclusive accommodation and kitchen facilities available on site and with San Josep only a 10-minute walk away, costs for a visit to this unique facility can be kept to an absolute minimum, even in high season where the high cost of restaurants, hotels and transport in addition to training fees, would be prohibitive.
    the website is www.ninobernardo.com
check him out, trust me you would have a blast (as im sure you would at sifu lams place)
