I haven't seen much of the series. I've seen clips of Toph using it. And I saw the episode where she's introduced, she uses it as well. It looks kick-ass in the cartoon. Hopefully they use it in the movie.

the names of the two dragons:

    Run

    Shaw

referencing the Shaw Brothers studios ( all four named Run: Run De, Run Run, RunMe, RunJe)

of course Shaw Brothers studios brought us pretty much ALL the kung fu fighting films produced in the 70s

The movie will be called "The Last Airbender" rather than "Avatar: The Last Airbender" to avoid confusion with James Cameron's upcoming film entitled "Avatar".

And mi wife loves the series as much as me and the little ones.
One problem, when its over, now what?
Any suggestions for another series as cool as Avatar?

My boys feel that you would be hard-pressed to find another series as cool as Avatar

My team has pitched a few new ideas to Nick and Disney but at the height of the recession no one was willing to green light any new projects. I hear things are getting better. Are they?
