ya its really weird. i dont see why it is even a big deal, i would think by now people are over that sort of thing. i suppose not yet, but we are starting to see a shift in the right direction, which is nice.

but ya the white, or black people in dragon ball were always pretty obviously NOT asian at all. lol.

Showing some Vegas love for homeboy Perris Aquino... a very talented kid. He needed acting lessons, but other than that he would've made a great Aang.

Someone said something about the supporting actors from Forbidden Kingdom being in Avatar, that would've been a great idea... M. Night, you disappoint me so.

Perris is a cool kid and don't worry you'll be seeing him in some up and coming projects.
He and his family came down to LA and spent the day with me working on some fun stuff.

well ive mentioned...a bunch of my friends worked on this film in various capacities both in front and behind the cam. on the first unit and the stunt crew...and from what im told this movie is gonna suck big time. and im not surprised to be honest.m.night was the wrong director for this project...not to mention casting and all that nonsense. its sad because this could have given cma a nice little bump if it was successful.

^It's bittersweet for me to have my suspicions confirmed.

Maybe someone will say "hey, let's just redo this thing the right way."

Yea buddy it was my intention to play CMA way up would it were I had my way.
I wanted to train the actors for an extended period in the basics of gung fu then eventually plug them into a teacher specializing in the disciplines associated with the four nations but alas those people have their heads so far up their own poo-shoot they don't even know what color the sky is much less which way is up LMFAO!

So is it safe to assume that the martial arts behind the four bending styles are not preserved?

    Such a disappointment.

actually they are in a way. because i do remember showing my friends some taichi and bagua. and they did show some of the stunt people some northern shaolin stuff, so i assume it is intact to some extent.

My god it came down to "someone some of the stunt guys knew teaching them something about some of the stuff in the animated series" to get gung fu in this film?

Well, the special effects are good. I'm not too impressed otherwise. Maybe I'm just already so burnt out on my disappointment that I just don't care anymore.

I wish them the very best despite my less than harmonious interactions with their business machine. The cool thing is Industrial Light and Magic is crafting the effects so that promises some spectacle

I just finished my chapter segment for the documentary "The Making of ATLAB"
    which is scheduled to air?

    TBA.

The production staff did some really cool photography with Sifu M. Rodriguez and myself as well as an extended interview so I'm giddy with anticipation to see it all.

When one of you gets a chance to see the movie I hope you'll tell us your impressions.
