    Question kettlebell vids?

Does anyone have any links to videos of decent kettlebell exercises/instructionals?
I've got Pavel's "Enter the kettlebell", but I'd like to flesh things out a bit.

It's just balls made of metal with handles. I prefer dumbells.

    A Bit More Than That

At a glance you're right. You can do many but not all KB exercises with a dumbell. KBs are in my opinion more versitile and can work things like grip strength and coordination better than a dumbbell. I'm not saying that KBs are the end all be all of workout tools, but they do have a bit more value than just a different looking dumbbell. Steve Cotter is an excellent resource for effective KB usage. Also, here's a shameless plug for my teacher who is also one of Pavel's RKC instructors.
www.iron-body.com I've used traditional free weights in the past and have trained with KBs for the past five years. I experienced faster and more significant gains with KB training than I did with regular free weights. JMO. Peace and happy training.

I would recommend the "Girevoy Sport" fluid style of kettlebell lifting over the RKC "hardstyle" which translate better into sport specific training and martial arts. The only DVDs I know which teaches the fluid style and its basic lifts correctly is "All Secrets Out" Part 1 and Part 2 DVDs by Coach Dimitri. Here is here the link: www.youcandoit.net. I would also recommend getting real Russian GS style kettlebells from American Kettlebell Club www.americankettlebellclub.com or through Dimitri. Please do your research. I hope this helps. BTW, I attended AKC seminar which Steve Cotter hosted in San Diego and his DVDs are also great resources.
