    Question for Mantis Players

Hello mantis players! I was hoping someone might be able to answer a question I have regarding the application of a technique.

If we look to this video--at about 0:07 seconds into the form, the player moves his arms in a circular motion. I know that the technique and form are called Fan Che, which can be translated as "Turning the Wheel" if I'm not mistaken. What application does the spinning arms produce? I've seen it a bunch of times and have always wondered.

    Thanks in advance,

    Thank you!

Thank you, TCMantis! I think I understand a little better now: the rolling arms could be both offencive strikes or a defensive grabs and parrys. A most excellent set of techniques...

    Thanks again,
