    Or so the story goes...

That'd be much like Da Mo crossing the river on nothing but a single reed leaf...

Great for stories, but I'm thinking Da Mo would've been drenched

actually from the proper perspective you would know that this is correct . The reed leaf is a small boat. If the story is true.

It seems guys like you, who are not in the know, seem to be fixated on this. whether it is true or not who really cares.I See you can only make fun of and focus in on the non-intrinsic aspects and/or just regular people who practice the art. Real mature and intelligent.

Rather, his guys are so well trained they can compete in any venue and still win.

As for Masterkiller training with you , big deal.
I flew 5 hours to train at his school for a reason. I've competed and won in big Chinese tournaments, but his students were levels above anyone I've ever competed against.

    Sure.

    SO??

your point being?? He is still virtually unknown and talks a lot of crap . Anyone who has as much as he says he does does not have to talk crap about other people and their chosen style. it sounds like he is a bully and lacks self esteem and self confidence , not failing to mention a few other things.

There is a possibility that Damo crossed on a reed boat. One character distortion
repeated over time can result in slippage froma reed boat toa reed. They did have reed boats.Lots of broken telephones!

ah, but that is exactly it.... for a lot of people martial arts is their religion; challenge their faith and you see the meltdown that we've seen here over and over again.... they'd rather believe the ridiculous and the irrational than confront more questions that lie behind them
