Probably made up style(all styles are made up at some point). Anything on lineage of the sifu. You can pretty much get an idea of where it came from. Of course most made up systems do not bother with lineages.
Master of Shaolin I-Ching Bu Ti, GunGoPow and I Hung Wei Lo styles.

I am seeking sparring partner. Any level. Looking for blondes or redhead. 5'2" to 5'9". Between 115-135 weight class. Females between 17-30 only need apply. Will extensively work on grappling.

Not that my chinese is all that good, but that name doesn't even seem to make sence... I read that as "outside front tree." Dunno; maybe it makes sence to someone who is fluent.

it depends on the tone. wu can mean a few things. any syllable can mean a lot of different things. if you have the characters for the styles name that might help.

Assuming not of the letters have any special tone notes and are more 'flat', there is this I found:

    http://www.thetaoistcenter.com/about.html

    "Philosophy of Wu Chien Pai
Wu Chien Pai, meaning "spaceless style," is a system which promotes an awareness that there is no separateness. The Wu Chien Pai martial arts develop a sense of harmony with nature and the self. The guiding principle of our system is Qi Dao, the Ultimate Way. Qi Dao is built on six principles: peace, love, freedom, happiness, health, and progress. These principles, when present in one’s inner state, will be manifested externally."

It sounds a little like the hippy version of taijiquan.

See, I told you my Chinese sux. I didn't see Pai as "family", I saw it as "tree" or "grove." Now I'm thinking back I think it was Lum that was grove. I need my notes...

Lum, as in Sil-Lum (Shao-lin) means trees or forest.

I was under the impression the Pai in your style was the family surname?

In Cantonese. But in Mandarin Pai can mean family or clan.

Yep. But that isn't to say Pai meens family to us, only that it is the family name of our founder.

While we are expected to learn the names of the techniques in chinese, most seem to simply accept the works as we are taught them. And we were taught in cantonese.

Chinese is a TONAL language with many ****phones. You can determine nothing without knowing the tone or character.
