For all of you that cared about my health

Hey all. Just wanted to give everyone an update. I am 99% into remission from thyroid cancer. I am functioning like a normal person. I had to have my tonsils removed about 13 days ago. My doctor is seeing vast improvements now that my tonsils are gone. Thank you all for wishing me luck. I will find out in one week if I am at 100% or not yet. My dream of fighting will soon become a reality...thank you guys once again.

Good to hear, Shellie. God speed you to a quick recovery and good luck with your fight.

    so happy for you
    glad things are going better
What would happen if a year-old baby fell from a fourth-floor window onto the head of a burly truck driver, standing on the sidewalk?
It's practically certain that the truckman would be knocked unconscious. He might die of brain concussion or a broken neck.
Even an innocent little baby can become a dangerous missile WHEN ITS BODY-WEIGHT IS SET INTO FAST MOTION.

I do not know you, but life is tuff enough without health problems getting in the way.

    dream of fighting?

You already are fighting. Why dream of fighting when you are faced with one of the greatest opponents there is? Fight on, SenseiShellie.

MMA doesn't work against cancer, therefore it's not a real martial art.

Thanks Gene! I find out officially on October 11 if I am officially in remission or not yet. Wish me luck.
