I do a few types:
1) lying down-centripital relaxation
2) Seated-Small Heavenly Cycle
3)Standing-wu-chi-relaxed, embracing the tree with fook soi hei gung (energy gate opening)
and of course,
4) Sam Bo Ging
5) Tiet Sien Kuen
6) Samjien Kuen
now im even less clear, i only understand 4/5/6 as they are forms,

yeah, a teacher who knows it. I learned it from my ex, who learned it from her Sifu, who was from Bak Lien P'ai. There are many different versions to open and clear the channels. In fact, in Liang Shou-Yu's Yang Tai chi 24 and 48 posture book, I believe he has several as well.
different methods to accomplish different things, clear and stabilize your mind/body and develop awareness, clear and circulate the energy, break up blockages, open up channels, strengthen the immune system and wu-hei (wei-ch'i) develop for strikes,awaken the spirit,etc
