    Att'n: KNIFEFIGHTER

What instructor would you most highly recommend in the Los Angeles/Socal area for no-gi grappling?

Also, how would you compare that choice to going to a good judo school, which most likely would be 12-20% of the price, particularly for someone whose trying to economize.

    thanks-

LA is one big-a$$ed spread out area, so it probably would depend on where you will be. There are a variety of programs around the area, each of which has good point and not so good points.

Eddie Bravo has an excellent no gi program in the Hollywood area.

Judo is definitely less expensive, but you will not be doing no-gi, nor will you get as good on the ground as with BJJ or no-gi BJJ.

Training with a local H.S. or college wrestling team is a good low-budget way of developing basic grappling skills.
