    Iron Man Movie

    By now most of you have seen the Iron Man trailer.....It's looks really good to me. Great choice for the cast. Jon Favreau has gotten better as a director so it should have a decent narrative as well.

    Well last week I heard something kind of interesting. They shot a scene with the Hulk meeting Iron Man at a bar having a beer.
    I don't believe it's in the film per se but something of a promo to promote the upcoming Hulk movie as well.

    I'm also glad they are taking another shot with the Hulk as well.

    Iron Man though looks to be a winner.

    Wazzup Nebs.....
    Yeah I know the trailer is old news...........I just wanted to post my scoop on the Hulk/Iron Man promo team up.......seemed nobody cared......

    I like the way this one looks. Being an old school Marvel fan I could barely watch the FF movies... and Spider-Man 3 was hugely disappointing.

    They got the Black Sabbath tune in there. That's all I really wanted for this film.

    This one looks interesting to me. When I first saw the preview at the theater I thought, "What the...?" But as the trailer progressed it looks like it could be a good one. So far, I think the only Marvel movies I've liked are the first Spiderman and the first Blade.

    I was a big Marvel fan in the late '60s through the '70s. But I haven't watched any of the Spidey sequels, FF, or SS (Silver Surfer).

    Off-topic:
    I'm wondering when the original '60s Hanna-Barbera Fantastic Four cartoon will be out on DVD?

    X-Men kicked A, and I'm looking forward to the Wolverine movie next year.

    I'll check out Iron Man. What I really want is Iron FIST.

    Actually you were scooped a while back in the Other Iron Man thread. Just the same, I'm always a sucker for the hope of a good comic book hero movie. Hopefully they'll set up a sequel with the Mandarin or Crimson Dynamo or Arsenal or Ultron or Titanium Man.

    Saw it yesterday, didn't stay through credits. Hear it's got something to do with SHEILD and teams that form because of them...

    Just saw it and it was really good. The cast was spot on. Great effects and action with a funny script at times.

    Yeah I won't blow the ending after the credits...it is quite the ''nerdgasm'' lol.

    Following the success of the Iron Man movie over the weekend, Marvel Studios updated its movie schedule as follows:

    * Punisher: War Zone (Lionsgate)- December 5, 2008
    * X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Fox)- May 1, 2009
    * Iron Man 2 - April 30, 2010
    * Thor - June 4, 2010
    * The First Avenger: Captain America - May 6, 2011
    * The Avengers - July 2011
    * Spider-Man 4 - Still in development
    * Ant-Man - Writer/Director engaged

    It was announced that Iron Man 2 would introduce Thor. While Robert Downey Jr, Gweneth Paltrow, and Terrence Howard are signed for three films, it is uncertain if Jon Favreau will return as director.
