****! Everyone is writing a book! X Guard looks great. Fedors looks great! Lots of stuff coming out. Now the question is how different will any of it be?

The difference will be in the "flavour", not the "substance".

What does he use in place of the various grips? I imagine the 50/50 under-over clinch?

Depends on the throw, in some cases it can be a via wrist and elbow grip, or elbow and neck, or well, you get the picture.

The "core" throws of judo are "easily" modified for no-gi work, just takes some practise, and the grip isn't always the issue, sometimes its the other guy hitting you in the face

Karo is one of those guys who makes Judo work in MMA. And he makes it look easy too.
When given the choice between big business and big government, choose big business. Big business never threw millions of people into gas chambers, but big government did.

I like the way you think, no better "distracting atemi" than a full force left hook to the jaw.

I was in Judo for several years. Judo is great for MMA and I've seen a few BJJ guys get their clocks cleaned by a Judoka. To be fair I've also seen the reverse:
But Judo with a good emphasis on Ne Waza will benefit any MMA training for tournament or the street.
    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!There Is only 1 STUDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
