ripped my first phonebook in half

    330 pages- finally got it.
Seen a strong man do it- figured I could do it too.
Figured right... there's a trick to it- but it still is hard to do.
Gives you a good burn in the ol' forearms.

Anybody else try it- you know- the ol' ripping a phone book in half trick?

May I ask what the phone book ever did to you?
Did it look at you funny or try to steal your wallet?

I need to practice more before I post a vid. We should be getting a whole mess of free phonebooks with the next printing, so I'll get the chance to work on it a bit. When I get it down 100%- I'll post a vid. It's just like hard chi-gung demos in that there's a "trick" to doing it. It's still not easy- but there's a technique that you have to use to get it started. It took me about 5 tries before I got the start right. That's pure boredom baby- gotta love it.

I was in an old storage warehouse when I learned to do this... I ran around picking up every phonebook(and for some reason there were pallets of them) maniacly laughing for hours. This is a similar resource to where I learned http://www.heavysports.com/emag/Clay...honebooks.html

Hey- that's the "secret". I was killing time at my kid's bookfair by reading a book for boy's titled "how to be the best at everything" http://www.amazon.com/How-Best-Every.../dp/0545016282. It had an article about ripping phone books in half- basically it was the same information from your link.

It still requires forearm strength- but KFMers should try it. Imagine what kind of an impact tearing a phone book in half prior to giving a chin na demonstration would have.
