"practical" books on (mostly) martial chi-kung

I´m looking for a good book which would have decent explanations on (many) chi-kung techniques and photos, making it easy for a novice to practice.

I heard 'Cheng Hsin: The Principles of Effortless Power' by Peter Ralston was good.

    I like Yang Jwing-Ming's

books. (YMAA Publication Center, Yang's Martial Arts Association (YMAA), 38 Hyde Park Avenue, Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts 02130).
There was Chi Kung - Health and Martial Arts. That was published in 1985.
The one I have is Muscle/Tendon Changing and Marrow/Brain Washing Chi Kung, published in 1989. That's the one I used for instruction.

I don't really rate that book too highly, as I feel some of his Tai Chi understanding and explanations in that book are either mis-understood or not right. Yang Jwang ming's books can be alright, unfortunately his lineage is slightly unclear and more towards Wushu I always thought.Or was it White Crane Kung-fu?. I always remember, in fact quite recently hearing a Yang Family recognised Tai Chi Master reviewing Ming's book on Traditional Yang Family Tai Chi, and him saying how did he think he could obtain this info as Yang family Tai Chi if he hasn't got lineage direct to the Yang family. Or at least heavily infering it.

I ordered "Chi kung for health and vitality" by Wong Kiew Kit I guess I remember this right...(It is supposed to be a perfect self-help manual!)
And Mantak Chia´s(trying to remember again)"Iron shirt chi-kung".Sounded strong!
What do you think about my orders?
