    inner air

I was just wondering what "being protected by inner air" means, does it have to do with internal arts, or not. Any info would be greatmuffenman420@hotmail.com

    muffenman,

prana is correct. It can get quite complicated to explain. Entire books have been written on the subject.

In short, air is considered a source of chi. Oxygen permeates all the tissues of our body and is necessary for proper cellular metabolism, because of this chi permeates every tissue of our bodies. During practice of Chi Kung we are attempting to cultivate, refine and channel our chi. It can then be used to protect the body in a Martial sense, in a Spiritual sense and in a Healthful sense as in protection from the negative effects of aging, disease and unhealthy environmental factors. Although it is difficult to develop clean or pure chi in an unhealthy environment.

    Sincerely,
    Scott
