What's authentic (or real) is what works.

    Against a skilled, resisting opponent.

    Everything else is fake.

And that includes all the posturing.

You can post 100 videos, for example.

But if NONE of them include working a against a skilled opponent who is actually trying to resist you with good moves and attacks of his own - that are actually meant to do damage....

    then it's all posturing.

What is your problem ? I put some clips from recent event to show that Wing Chun still have a lot followers and that work of Wing Chun enthusiasts who put a lot of effort in the last 30 years in promoting the art is recognised from and awarded . If you have problems with that or with what we are douing i can not help you .

I've been posting these kinds of opinions long before I even read a Terence Niehoff post.

And zuti, my remarks are not necessarily directed at you. There's a lot of water under some bridges that have nothing to do with you or the folks you train with.

    Good luck

There's definitely nothing wrong with opinions dude, as long as you're still on the Wing Chun tip (which it looks like you are) then all is good

dont think I have ever seen a VT guy step by putting their lead leg crossed behind the back leg. Is that just a major extension of the step in the knives. Also you seem to show putting your hand under and striking below your lead arm. Do you feel this is better then striking above your lead arm. He seems to say something about it like it being in biu jee but different language so not sure.
