Check out wing lam. That's where I bought mine from. I've broken two of them though so there might be better quality out there.

    Don't act so shocked!
They've actually increased the quality 200% just to deal with my fa jing or gin or whatever it's called.

No really, I think it was because they were kept in a cooler place and when used I think that is what did it. They just cracked right through. No biggy but when you train they give you tiny micro cuts. It looks cool but gets tiny scabs and doesn't make well for training again soon after.

The reason i ask is because i have seen cheaper versions and they do break, but the brass ones...well, shouldn't.

weird. Not that I need a new set, but I will keep this in mind before I do get another set in the future.

Why don't you all go play on their forums?

If we're just talking brass, we're not in the game. But if we're talking chromed rings, support our site.

We use these ones -you can see the thickness in the clip - but we got them made as alot of the ones available to buy don't have the correct weight - not heavy enough.

If you have a group of people you train with who need a few sets go to a metal worker and see what you can get sorted.

I think we got 7 or 8 sets of 12 rings - so you have a total of 6 per arm.

It was a few years ago but was about $160 each - and they sure as hell wont crack.

~ G I was gonna link to these but couldn't find them at mam.

now it seems they are under weapons.

shouldn't they be under training equipment?

Iron is fine, steel is fine, brass is fine and if you're super rich, Gold would be preferred.

1.5 to 2 lbs each ring is acceptable.

size should be so that when you make a fist and punch with one on, it will not slide off your hand and when you raise your arms, it will not float up the arm passed the elbow.

I use 5 each side when practicing a dynamic tension set or when doing individual drills for strength dev or muscle density and skin toughening.

they're a great tool for helping to develop your bridges.

A local place used to sell them for $10 or $15 each. I bought 8 and then eventually sold them to another KFM member a few years ago. They were chrome steel and never broke, but they were really loud when I used them.

Some of these places selling them for $45 a pair are nuts!
