    Self Defense Patents-WW2

Thought some may find this interesting. The below patents are self defense/offense based weapons that were developed by during World War Two by three of the great combative self defense instructors of the time.

The first one is Bernard Cosnecks the "Armette". He was the one who taught combat judo to Dempsey and was featured in his 1942 book called How to Fight Tough and was the author of his own work called American Combat Judo in 1944 and was a winner of the big ten wrestling championship back in 1932 and 1934.

This one is the Clemmens knee spike

The last one is O" Neill's defensive wristband

One problem with these things is if they get caught in something you're stuck for at least a second or so.
I quit after getting my first black belt because the school I was a part of was in the process of lowering their standards A painfully honest KC Elbows

The crap that many schools do is not the crap I was taught or train in or teach.

Dam nit... it made sense when it was running through my head.

    A few things:

    They are all bladed weapons
None of them are "new" per say
There are a few out there that are blunt "force multipliers" ala "blackjacks" and"saps".
These guys would have loved the Okinawan Tekko

Praise be my Lord my Rock,
He trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle !
