Master Chen Youze 2008 Sf Bay Area Seminar

The Bay Area Chen Taiji Association will proudly host Master Chen Youze this July and August in the San Francisco Bay Area. Master Chen is the eldest son of Master Chen Qingzhou (19th Gen) and is the only person to have ever won the Chen Village "confrontational push hands" competition three years consecutively. He has since dedicated his life to teaching and spreading his art based upon his father's Zun Gu system of Chen Taiji. He is currently a China National Grade Coach, and is frequently a Competition Judge also at the national level. He travels throughout China training nascent martial artists to compete in push hands, internal weapons and empty hand forms.

A well respected figure within Chen style, he is perhaps not well known on the outside due to his humble dedication, and frankly his low tolerance for BS. But we'll let his record speak for itself:

Master Chen Youze '陳有则老師' will be in the U.S. during July and August. Take advantage of a rare opportunity to meet and learn from this Taiji Master from the Chen village area. Master Chen is a 20th generation direct line descendant of the Chen Family in Chenjiagou (Chen Village), Henan Province, China. Master Chen is a China National Coach, four-time consecutive Chen Village push hand champion, consecutive three times China National push hand champion under “confrontational rules”, which have since been banned due to violence and injury. This is the second time he is visiting the U.S. The last time he came to the U.S. was in 1998. He will be teaching Chen Style Lao Jia Taiji and applications. Master Chen will also offer training on 5 kinds of Chen Taiji Push hand drills, pole shaking, basic 8 energies drills and Chen Taiji weapons training during his visit to the U.S.
