    OT: does anyone know any good dvd rip software out there?

    without tags and something that wont flood my computer with viruses

    i want to be able to convert my dvde collection into an ipod compatible format (mp4)
    any help appreciated
    there are only masters where there are slaves

    I've used these for a couple of year now in conjunction with Roxio Easy media Creator 10. Works great.

    When I commute or travel, I load up movies/TV shows on my Nokia N95.
    Master of Shaolin I-Ching Bu Ti, GunGoPow and I Hung Wei Lo styles.

    One Click DVDcopy & One Click dvd to ipod....decrypt is free on net...

    Handbrake is awesome

    Has presets for everything and you can fully customize it......

    And it's free!

    U may need to convert it though

    Handbrake is great. It used to only be a mac program....windows users everywhere rejoiced when this version came out..

    I know you said you want mp4's but..... If you need to convert from MP4 to another format.would recommend Super from E-right soft- it's a free video file converter and has the most options I have ever seen in free program. I use this allot at work for video I need converted to WMV for our streaming media server.

    Oh and also handbrake takes forever so be patient and go practice your forms or do a long Qi Gung like 9 times power while you wait...
