Talking jimbo, or anybody else i guess

I guess I hardly notice anymore...don't know of an English-dub version.

I saw a review that said the uk release has english dub, since I know about 1% of the cantonese language and can hardly tell the difference bwtween that and amndarin, I NEED good english subs. Or I can at least listen to the english dub once, and if it's decent I don't hav to strain my eyes the next time I watch it. It's a good thing though that rarescope put this in widescreen so only 5% of the subs get cutoff by the sides, so you are very lucky to know the language, cause this ****te really irks me

I don't own Secret Rivals 3, but saw it in the early 80s and have a good memory or the performers.

I won't give a review on this for a while. Every month or 2 I get on the net and buy 5-10 movies. I get a lot of those collections if I see something really good, but they usually suck cause they are so cheap. And SR 3 is by vid asia, so this time I went with RED SUN released avengiign eagle and mad monkey kung fu. I also got boxer's advebture and drive, which I haven't seen in a long time!!

I remember someone had avenging eagle as their favorite movie and have been looking for it for a while, but i will always suggest red sun if you can't get celestial. Celestail musyt have created them before they started releasing casue they only do shaw flicks, but there are plenty of thise. All 4 of their movies I have currently are letterboxed with crystal clear picture and I will definitely give monkey and eagle credit if they have all the goods, shaolin prince is the only red sun version I have that only has english dub, at least I can follow the plot

I only saw a few of the trailers that seemed interesting to me, but I suppose we'll have to see!

Watch closely for the sword fight in the rain, 3 constables and ninjas in ancient china, I think it was the last of cheng cheh. And yeah, it looks stupid, but it looks VERY unique which I always find cool

    Thumbs up hey jimbno

i can't rememer which thread I was talking this with you but this one seems to fit. I saw death duel fo kf and I have to say that eagle han has never looked worse His fighing abilities have never looked better. It does look like he could be even better than that if he was under say woo-ping or kau leung, or many many others, but I didn't think a movie vcould possibly be worse than secret rivals and still be oh so good. This movie was really bad but like 4 fight scenes that make me give it a thumbs up. Admit it, you like this movie because of the eagle's stylin hairdo. And the stunt double slow mo scene, classic

Chow is a martial arts star? I know you put your favorite "stars", btu he just isn't that good without a gun and not in a john woo movie. And he and tiny tony did do a good job of getting thrown around by phillip kwok as kwok played one of the coolest characters ever.

donnie yen for sure. today hes one of the only one's whos the real deal anyhow.
hes a martial artist/actor vs. an actor/martial artist.

watching iron monkey is great seeing as how the style his character uses he, in real life, is a lineage holder to.

chow does play a lot of cop/ganster gunslinger roles, but he has put his time in with the martial crowd too.

You know that is like woo-ping evertime you don't see sam's face. Simon Yuen though definitely looks bad ass evertime he is doing drunken style waist up.

AND THE DRUNKEN MASTER'S FIGHT IS ONE OF THE BEST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey update on chang shan and other things. he had one great fight with JACK LONG in ninja hunter, and another pretty good one. And also, that was forgettable, but was very good. I have ordered five fighters from shaolin. Wondering if Of cooks and kung fu is any good and if he has more than 2 fights. And what other ninja lo rei movies have you seen him in? Not that I would buy or watch those or anything, even if they were on cable.

And robert tai's work in secret rivals 3 was spectacular. I have been trying to think of a way to describe him. I think I will call him slippery. And the kid who keeps on saying "you just wait , my dad will make you pay for this" from ninja in dragon's den was my favorite character in this. Well maybe the director of the classic fist of legend 2 robert tai was my fav. And liu is pretty freaking sweet, but lo rei was not exactly up to standard. Pertty good movie. And the dvd from videoasia looks lke they just needed to blow the dust off the print and it would ahev been better. But no real damage. Not quite a liu top 10 performance, but still great.

And I know you love dorian tan, check out eight escorts, with LILY LI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And if you have seen that then check out boxer's adventure, my favorite dorian performance.

Almost forgot. Ninja and dragon's is comin out. I may get that too, but on the cover it says from the student of sonny chiba. If you don't remember this trailer, it was the one where it looked like sanada was fighting the guy with the cape and the mask, and then the masked guy had a baby at one point. But I thought that this one seemed like the best movi on ther with 3 constables and the one where they are sowrd fighting in the rain with umbrellas in their hands.

    tell me what you think.

    Just curious again.

I am wondering what your thoughts and opinions on Tony Jaa are.
    Real fighting skills and ability/experience?

Or basically a flashier stunt version of Muay Thai?
