    At least your honest.

So, if he indeed does spend alot more money (McCain says $860 billion new spending), you will be upset and say he lied?

What are you hoping he does for social liberties? He's actually made no promises on that issue that I'm aware of.
When given the choice between big business and big government, choose big business. Big business never threw millions of people into gas chambers, but big government did.

Obama voted for that stuff as well.

It's good some companies are profiting right now as the economy is not exactly rolling along just fine. Had they had layoffs, unemployment would be that much higher. Also, since they made money and thus did not have to borrow, that leaves more money banks can loan to struggling businesses in this credit-tight time.

Whether you like the oil companies or not, it's good news for the economy.

Depends on what it is spent on. If he has to raise money to pay off the debt, develop clean power, or to fund education, or get us out of Iraq and Afghanistan safely, I won't be upset.

Supreme Court, my friend. The next president will likely appoint 1, maybe 3, new justices.

I guess the fact that one of the reasons the economy is NOT rolling along is BECAUSE of these companies and their inflated profits, means nothing?

I'm aware of that. I'm asking what policies/laws do you want to see enacted? Any you want to see rescinded?

The main problem with the economy right now is the sub-prime mortgage mess. The oil companies had nothing to do with that.

And in case you missed it, gas prices are coming down big time recently. People here in Texas are wondering if it will fall below $2/gallon.

FYI, for the 251st time, 'Spreading the wealth around' is a big part of any socialist society.
You are so predictable it's not funny. I predicted you would just start going on about "spreading the wealth around" about a page ago when I outlined things a socialist would likely do that Obabma would never countenance.

Yeah, people are not buying cars because of mortgage rates and companies are losing business because of higher operating costs because of mortgage rates...
    Dude...
And the price of oil NOW has nothing to do with the profits of yesterday.

    A) Keep religious influence out of publically-funded institutions. No prayer in schools. No ten commandments in court houses, etc...

    B) Respect the precedent of Roe vs Wade.
