    Shuai Jiao Question

What's the best source for distance learning SJ/SC? I do both Judo and Mantis kung fu. I'd like to learn the SC warmups and throws to incorporate into my Judo practice. What's the top video source that would allow me to do that?

Shuaijiao technique by Master Wang Wenyong

    There's a dvd set available

then, there's John Wang of Combat Shuai Chiao

the production quality is lower because it was just the film of a seminar, but it is drill based, so it is good.

    Cool Stuff

Thank you. I'm finding I like SC more and more everyday. Too bad there are no coaches near Jackson Michigan.

Actually you have a bunch down in Ohio. Not too far for weekend trips!

The ACSCA has good info. www.combatshuaichiao.com. Honestly, Judo is gonna be the best thing if you don't have access to a SC coach. You could pick up a lot in the way of solo training exercises, and the difference in mindset if you could spend a good long weekend with someone. The throws really are similar to Judo, and I've seen a lot of 'throws that don't exist in Judo' from some of the old timers. The majority of the material can be grafted right on top of your Judo training.

Here's a link to all the schools in your area that I have found. http://shuaijiaonation.com/site/?page_id=4
I'm working on a complete list of Shuaijiao products later in the year, but I hope this helps for the meantime.
