    Looking for a School

    I currently live in the Los Angeles area and i was wondering if anybody is teaching 8step praying mantis publicly or privately?

    Check out Tim Cartmell www.shenwu.com No mantis, but he is the best teacher in that town!

    LA is not Garden Grove.... that's @ 30 miles, which is 40 to 90 minutes depending on traffic.... I-5, Feh! and in "rush hour"(often most of the day), double-Feh!

    No comment on Cartmell, since I don't know him.

    Cartmell is worth 3 hours of traffic! I wish I were so lucky! Check him out. All you have to lose is an afternoon / evening.

    Bingo, if you can locate Mr. Lin, you are as close as your going to get to perfect for what you are looking for. For mantis, you can also contact Jason Tsou in Monterey Park. Not only is he a great teacher for praying mantis, he may be able to put you in touch with Mr. Lin.

    Hey Dragonball,

    You are Dean the one time Jame Shyun's 8 Step USA representative. I found out from your old threads. Why didn't you stay up north and learn with John Chang? I heard great things about his 8 Step mantis.
