I am extremely happy to say that as a united family we have officially returned to Vancouver BC and begun accepting both regular and closed door students.

Our school is under the direct Supervision of my Sigung GM Raymond Leung Lap Yau, Disciple of GM Tam Fei Pang. We are supported by my Sifu, Master Henry Suen Wai and the school is under Direction from my Di Sihing Master David Zerff (disciple since 1982). Good job Rob!

Hopefully I can come out there and do some training with you sometime around 2009 Tiger Balms. Are you doing a San Shou component to your classes?

    Cheers,

    Thanks for the support brother.
Your welcome any time, keep an eye on seat sales if you can make it out before T-balms. Like I said you've always got a place to stay.

And yes our adult "combative program" is going to be geared for Sanda and Lei Tai. We will benfit greatly from your input and experince when you come visit us. I will benefit from all the conditioning stuff you can teach me
Looking forward to the next time we get to cross hands

I have also been hired full time as an instructor at Shinka and will be teaching their kickboxing program. My students are going to have the benefit of learning the Submission Grappling along side me if they wish from my fellow instructors if they want to train for MMA.

Very cool, very cool...I appreciate the offer and will be taking you up on it!
Maybe I would be able to do a seminar on a couple of topics to make up some dinero?
I'm also curious to see your progress as you've been out and about with some top-notch instructors from all over the place!

Keep at the submission wrestling...it will only improve your kung fu...especially conditioning!

    Dave,
the whole idea of this facility is to have a set up to allow us to invite teachers like you to enrich our students. I'm excited that Shinka will be a venue to host many of my freinds from around Canada and the USA.

Once our student base is established and I have a stable of CLF cats for you to beat up. Then yes i can see having you out on a semi regualr basis even. It will depend on interest etc.... But it was my plan to help off set your costs in any event

    Brandon,

Thanks for the support man, glad we had the chance to connect this summer. The invitation stands, just let me know what goes on. Your Sisook, Tai Lik is planning to come up and see me with his students & family some time in June we hope. Perhaps you can come then?

Very cool. I look forward to hooking up.
I will keep updated on how your club developes.

More and more of these types of venues are springing up: clubs with multiple styles offering a wide variety of instructors and approaches all geared towards increasing the knowledge of the students AND the instructors. I know of stagnant martial artists...a sad sight indeed.
